In February 2019 my wife and I decided that the best thing for our family would be for me to venture on my own and start my own accounting practice. From this conversation, Adams Financial Solutions was born and has grown to what it is today.
But why? Was it money, lifestyle, independence?
One of the main reasons people have discontent in their lives is because they have no idea why they do the things they do. Why do I go to work everyday? Why do I travel 2 hours to work? Why do I want this promotion so bad?
That is why the first thing I did before planning anything else in Adams Financial Solutions was write the following Why Statement:
"To help our partners sleep better at night by giving them an understanding of what their financial freedom looks like and to assist with decisions that are needed to achieve this through education and clarity around financial information.
Once financial freedom is understood, goals can be set and plans created for our partners to see that financial freedom is not a pipe-dream, that it can be achieved. Our knowledge, systems and networks are used to ensure our partners outline goals, then stay the course to make them a reality. They can do this because they will be informed of what they are doing and why they are doing it."
